Virginia Energy Plan

Part of the process of government is figuring out how to turn policy into a practical plan. For example, Governor Kaine and other state officials hope to implement a clean, affordable energy policy in Virginia. What steps can they take to do this?

Virginia's Department of Mines, Minerals, and Energy produced this 10-year plan for energy policy in Virginia. The document contains a series of graphs and other primary source material.

What are broad energy policies the state hopes to implement? What are some practical steps that citizens, local governments, and state agencies can take to achieve these goals?
